Don Felder and Sugar Ray to co-headline RAGBRAI Mason City
(ABC 6 News) – RAGBRAI Mason City unveiled its entertainment lineup Wednesday evening during a Town Hall meeting at the Principal Pavilion.
Don Felder, formerly of the Eagles, and Sugar Ray were announced as co-headliners of RAGBRAI Mason City’s festivities on July 27th in downtown Mason City. Felder will take the Main Stage first, followed by Sugar Ray.
“Years ago I noticed that one of the best things about RAGBRAI was that there seemed to be a team for everyone. We’ve worked hard to make sure our Mason City entertainment reflected that spirit,” said RAGBRAI Mason City Executive Committee Chair #3 Nancy Lund.
In addition to its Main Stage entertainment, RAGBRAI Mason City also revealed its side stage entertainment as 13 on Seven, a 90’s rock and grunge cover band, will be performing at the Muse Norris Side Stage.
Fans of Chris Stapleton, Zac Brown Band, and Eric Church will enjoy a mix of country, blues, funk, and rock from Danny Grause at the Principal Pavilion. Following Grause, festival-goers can look forward to the easy-going country sound and a fun, energetic performance from Iowa Native Brad Morgan.
“From the smaller bands we’re showcasing on the side stages, to the world-famous Main Stage artists and the special surprise guests we’re bringing in; I think the riders and everyone coming in to help celebrate the Ride of the Century is going to find something they love,” Lund said. “Believe me, we’ve got entertainment worth staying up for in Mason City.”
