Worth Co. Board votes to make EMS an essential service

(ABC 6 News) – The Worth County Board of Supervisors has voted to make EMS an essential service within the county.

The resolution was passed in its third reading in front of the board.

In the resolution, the board recognized the importance of maintaining and advancing the level of care for citizens within the county.

The resolution will now move to voters to be approved and it will require at least 60% voter approval to be passed.
