(ABC 6 News) — After the Med City Freeze’s 39-0 blowout victory over the Central Iowa Chiefs, they were full of momentum and confidence going into their second home game.

The game had to be played at KM Telecom Stadium because of a track meet held at Mayo High School, the Freeze’s standard home field.

The Freeze got in the red zone several times against the Rampage but failed to score.

The Rampage scored a touchdown early in the game and added a field goal just before the end of the first half to make it a 10-0 lead.

In the second half, the Freeze stifled several Rampage offensive drives, but field position because of penalties allowed the Rampage to have short-yardage and score their only touchdown of the second half.

The Freeze head into their bye week with a 1-3 record but running back Andre Davis is still optimistic for the season.

"We’re going to refocus," Davis said. "Make sure that we keep all of our players accountable and that everybody makes sure that we know what we’re doing and what our goals are and we achieve them. We still got a full season ahead of us."
