IA authorities issues nation-wide manhunt for suspect in child sex abuse case

(ABC 6 News) – After a two week investigation, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office said charges have been filed, and a nation-wide warrant has been issued for 45-year-old Matthew Eric Nordrum, of Clermont, for sex abuse in the 2nd-degree.

The sheriff’s office says Nordrum allegedly sexually assaulted a child under the age of five while the child was at his home, and the investigation has also led to three other allegations that are currently under investigation.

The Fayette County Sheriff said Nordrum may be in the tri-state area and are asking for the public’s help in finding him. If you believe you’ve seen him, or know of his whereabouts, you’re asked to call your local authorities.
