Light snow, breeze closes out large storm system
It will be a drop in the bucket compared to what parts of the Dakotas, Wyoming and Nebraska will see. A few inches of snow wraps up our slow moving storm system Thursday and Friday. While the west sees widespread marks 12-24″… Locally, we’ll see just a couple inches each Thursday and Friday.
The going forecast calls for enough to create some slippery travel, especially on the Minnesota side of the border. 1-2″ looks likely on the Minnesota side on Thursday and again on Friday. The south side of the border into Iowa can expect around 1″ or less each day.
The travel scene will likely see some snow/slush covered stretches of road. The wind will have a bit more punch on Friday as it gusts 25-30 mph from the W/NW.
