(ABC 6 News) – The annual Paws & Claws Humane Society Pet Walk was held at Cook Park in Rochester on Saturday.
Many families and their furry friends were out enjoying food and refreshments for both humans and their dogs. Games and vendor booths were also set up, including the puppy kissing booth.
Fundraisers like these are so important to the shelter because it does not receive government assistance for the animals it takes in. This money allows Paws & Claws to continue taking in animals and finding them forever homes.
At this hour, we are told more than $37,000 has been raised at the event.
