7 catalytic converters stolen from Stewartville auto shop
(ABC 6 News) – A Stewartville auto sales shop counted up seven catalytic converter thefts in a week and reported them all Monday, according to the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office.
Stewartville Auto Sales, located in the 900 block of North Main Street, reported 7 catalytic converters stolen from 5 vehicles — some of which had two converters — between Dec. 5 and Dec. 12.
Stewartville Auto Sales had seen a much more expensive series of thefts in August of this year.
