More light snow into Friday
We’ve seen snow totals so far range mainly from 1-5″. Isolated spots have crept a bit higher. From here on out, snow showers will continue through Friday evening. But with each passing hour, the coverage and intensity will generally become less and less. An additional 1-3, isolated 4″ will be possible. We’ll see most of that accumulation through mid-morning on Friday.
Outside of the wintry driving aspects we need to be concerned with, there will be wind gusts to 25 mph from the northwest in the afternoon. Thursday’s snow consistency isn’t up to snuff for blowing around in that breeze, but whatever falls from here on out will have a better opportunity to stir around. So heads up for that.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in place for parts of our area until various times Thursday evening.
