(ABC 6 News) — Fans at Kasson-Mantorville High School certainly got a game Tuesday evening.
The KoMets hosted Cannon Falls in what proved to be a high-scoring game. The Bombers were up 6-5 in the top of the third inning before adding a run off a sacrifice fly to left.
But when the KoMets went to bat in the bottom of the third, a strange but welcome turn of events occurred. The Bombers ended up walking four out of the next five hitters. Jake Hallstrom, Gabe Swarts and Kyle Nelson were among those that ended up reaching base, with the first two walking home to tie it all at 7-7.
However, as the game went on Cannon Falls eventually regained control and narrowly won by a final score of 13-12.
