Impacts of Incoming Frigid Cold

With both the setup of the snow system as well as gusty winds possible behind the snow system, we are looking at some extremely cold wind chills. The air temperatures will make this much easier. As such, an ALERT DAY has been added for Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday due to the cold. Friday and Saturday look to be the coldest out of all of them. Another issue is with temperatures expected to be as cold as they will be, the snow we get will freeze up MUCH faster (which will impact commutes).
