Level 3 offender moving to SE Rochester

(ABC 6 News) – The Rochester Police Department said a Level 3 predatory offender is relocating to southeast Rochester.

Scott Thorpe will be moving to the 1700 block of 1st Avenue SE on July 1.

Thorpe has a history of sexual contact with known female children. Contact has included sexual touching and penetration. Thorpe has taken advantage of their vulnerable state to gain compliance.

"This individual has served the sentence imposed on them by the court and is transitioning into the community. This notification is not intended to increase fear but rather raise awareness. Law enforcement believes that an informed public is a safer public."
