Former Austin Packer Both Gach earns roster spot with Orlando Magic for Summer League 2022

(ABC 6 News) – Former Austin Packer Both Gach has earned a roster spot with the Orlando Magic for NBA 2K23 Summer League 2022.

The Orlando Magic announced their roster for the NBA 2K23 Summer League 2022 in Las Vegas.

Both Gach played for Austin High School, then left his senior season to play at Arizona Compass Prep. He then made the move to Division 1, playing two seasons at the University of Utah before transferring to play his junior season for the Minnesota Golden Gophers. He transferred back to the Utah men’s basketball team this summer for his final season.

Gach averaged 8.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game between both schools in total. The former Packer will have one heck of a teammate in the number one overall pick of the draft, Duke’s Paolo Banchero.

Gach hosted a two-day basketball camp for kids of all ages in Austin last year.

Orlando will kick off Summer League play on July 7th.
