Impact on travel, not all terrible

Light, persistent snow will be the focus of the forecast tonight, Wednesday into early Thursday morning. This will have at least some impact on the travel scene. The heaviest (which isn’t that heavy at all) is right at the beginning. And will likely mean snow/slush covered roads into Wednesday morning.

But there should be some improvement during the day as temperatures will be at or above freezing. The power of the sun behind the clouds should help improve roads a bit through the day. Another downturn is possible Wednesday night into Thursday.

Travel will definitely be doable. You’ll just want that extra caution as you’re headed out. Add extra time and take care.
