Make-A-Wish Minnesota to grant 230 wishes to kids in 2023

(ABC 6 News) – While the world is making New Year’s resolutions, Minnesota kids with critical illnesses are making wishes and Make-A-Wish Minnesota, with support from volunteers and partners, are making them a reality. 

The foundation said in 2023 they have a goal to grant 230 wishes to Minnesota kids. In 2022, Make-A-Wish Minnesota granted 218 life-changing wishes. They encourage everyone to make a resolution in 2023 to help local communities by volunteering, donating, sharing social media posts, or even getting a company involved.

One of the foundations partners, Warners’ Stellian Appliance, raised $100,000 for Minnesota wish kids in 2022. This year, from Jan. 12-23, the company will donate $50 for each qualifying appliance purchase from participating brands.
