(ABC 6 News) – A Rochester man was pulled out of his vehicle at gunpoint in the 500 block of 4th Avenue SE.
Capt. Casey Moilanen with the Rochester Police Department said the 36-year-old victim owed money to an unnamed suspect, but had paid for the 2004 BMW X3 he was sitting in Thursday, June 2.
The suspect, from whom the victim had bought the car, pulled up in a black Chevrolet Tahoe.
The suspect took a shotgun out of the Tahoe, pointed it at the victim, and pulled him out of the vehicle. When the victim tried to defend himself, Moilanen said, the suspect punched him.
According to the victim, the suspect then ordered a woman, his wife, to get into the BMW. The pair left, with the male suspect in the Tahoe and the woman in the BMW, and traveled northbound on 4th Avennue, then east on 6th Street SE.
Rochester police are still looking for the suspects, Moilanen said.
The victim did not sustain serious injuries from the confrontation.
