Masks required in city-owned facilities in Austin due to high COVID-19 transmission
(ABC 6 News) – Starting Tuesday anyone who visits a city-owned facility in Austin will have to wear a mask.
The City of Austin posted on its Facebook page that Mower County moved into the high COVID-19 transmission rate on Monday as indicated by the CDC’s COVID Tracker.
As of Tuesday "masks will be required in all indoor public areas in City of Austin owned facilities until further notice, regardless of your vaccination status."
