Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office recover vehicle from Clear Lake

(ABC 6 News) – A vehicle was pulled from Clear Lake Monday afternoon.

The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s office said the vehicle was found by a fisherman submerged in 9′ of water near the boat ramp location.

A dive team was able to bring the vehicle to shore and was taken to the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s office.

Further investigation of the vehicle determined that it was unoccupied with all windows closed and likely has been there for several years.

The sheriff’s office is currently working to identify the last known owner of the vehicle.

At this time, the Sheriff’s office says there is no reason to believe that the vehicle is linked to any foul play or any ongoing investigations in the area.
