Gov. Reynolds signs bill increasing per-student education funding by 3 percent
(ABC 6 News) – Tuesday, Gov. Reynolds signed SF 192, a bill that increases per-student education funding by 3 percent, bringing general fund spending on K-12 education to $3.8 billion.
“This results in a $1.19 billion increase in K-12 education funding since 2012,” said Gov. Kim Reynolds. “This investment represents our commitment to an excellent education system for all Iowans.”
