Two systems targeting next week

Consistency in the long range is building, leading to higher confidence our area is impacted by two storm systems next week.

Not much change to the going plan. The first arrives on Tuesday with mostly a rain component. With the amount of moisture at play it will be tough to cool down the atmosphere. That said, we’ll watch for mix precip in the colder periods.

After a break Wednesday, A second storm hot on its heals will boast some colder temperatures to play with. It is more likely we see snow with the second system.

There is a 10-30% chance that our area sees liquid snow melt to the tune of 1/4″ or more. The probabilities may look low, but the fact we are out six days and are registering does tell a tale that things are looking more likely than not.
