Rochester Police Policy Oversight Commission reviews CSO policies

(ABC 6 News) – During a public meeting, the Rochester Police Policy Oversight Commission took time to take a last look at the policies for Community Service Officers. (CSO)
A CSO performs general duty civilian public safety work, including protecting life and property, preventing crimes, and enforcing laws and ordinances. But, they do not have the ability to make an arrest.
The commission reviewed an update on CSO policies they must abide by.
