RPD: Information needed to solve Tuesday night hit-and-run case

(ABC 6 News) – Rochester police are asking for witnesses to a Valentine’s Day hit-and-run to come forward with information.

Capt. Casey Moilanen with the Rochester police department said an unknown vehicle driving southbound on Bandel Road went into the northbound lane and hit a 2007 Acura RDX waiting at the intersection on 55th St. NW at about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14.

The 37-and 18-year-old passengers in the Acura were transported to St. Mary’s Hospital with neck and chest injuries after the head-on collision.

The other vehicle fled the scene, and Rochester police have no leads.
