Just missing out

Our next system is just off to our southeast. Not much is expected to happen locally. Some radar returns will be present but there will be too much dry air to overcome to send much more than flurries to the ground. Howard and Floyd Counties have the best chance to see a dusting of accumulation, but even that doesn’t appear that promising.

A swath of 6-9″ is possible across southern and eastern Iowa. Totals sharply cut off nearer to our local area. Travel impacts will be expected in this part of the state.
