Single-vehicle crash on Highway 52 injures Rochester man
(ABC 6 News) UPDATE – A Rochester man was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle crash on Monday morning.
The Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) says the crash happened around 10:30 a.m. A vehicle driven by 51-year-old Kip Levos of Rochester, was driving southbound on Highway 52 when the vehicle lost control and hit the median wall near 2nd St. SW.
Levos was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A 48-year-old male passenger from Coon Rapids, Minn. was not injured.
The MSP says the road conditions were ice and snow covered at the time and that both occupants were wearing seatbelts.
The MSP was assisted at the scene by the Rochester Police Department, Rochester Fire Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance.
(ABC 6 News) – A single southbound vehicle on Highway 52 near 2nd Street SW crashed into the median, causing first responders to block part of the interstate at about 10:35 a.m. Monday.
One individual was loaded onto a stretcher and transported via Mayo Clinic Ambulance.
