Snow Wrapping Up; Travel Impacts Remain
The 3-day storm we’ve been dealing with will continue to move out of the area, bringing the snow with it. Watch out for numerous icy spots area-wide, as we go through the rest of our Thursday.
The wind will continue to cause a few issues in the form of blowing and drifting snow, with low visibility in the wide open. Road conditions will continue to be very a bit tricky, as the wind continues to remain strong, gusting 35 mph at times.
We are clear of the storm Friday, however cold air comes into play, as temperatures plummet Friday morning down close to -10°. The wind is easing though so wind chills won’t be too extreme, but still down near -20° for some. Not to worry, we are trending quiet & mild for the weekend, as highs return to the 30s.
