(ABC 6 News) – Rochester Public Schools (RPS) announced on their social media pages that bus routes on gravel roads are canceled Monday morning due to icy conditions.
RPS says buses are getting stuck on gravel roads because of ice. They say any students who ride the bus and have a bus stop on a gravel road or for any students that live on a gravel road, that buses will not be able to pick them up.
RPS says later Monday they will evaluate road conditions for bus routes on gravel stops.
Students who are not able to find transportation to school Monday morning, will have an excused absence. RPS says to call the school to let them know.
