Cars damaged in Northeast Rochester Shooting

(ABC 6 News) – Three cars were damaged in a parking lot in northeast Rochester during a shooting Sunday night.

Around 10 p.m. Sunday, Rochester police responded to the 300 block of 27th Street Northeast for multiple calls of gunshots near Bowlocity.

Officers searched the area but did not find any damage, victims or shell casings.

Monday morning around 10 a.m., an officer went to the 400 block of 27th Street Northeast for calls of three vehicles damaged by gunshots.

The officer found eight shots had been fired at the cars.

Police say it appears as though someone was shooting at a person running in front of the cars.

Police did not receive any reports of gunshot wounds from the hospital and have found no other evidence in connection to this shooting.
