Sub-zeros hard to come by

Our forecast for the next ten days is free of sub-zero temperatures. They’ll be harder and harder to come by for the rest of the cold season. Our average last sub-zero temperatures are observed on Feb. 23rd. Last season, the final sub-zero occurred on Feb. 25th. This season, our latest instance has been Feb. 24th.

The latest we’ve ever hit sub-zero temperatures was on March 31st… occurring in 1934.

So far this season, we’ve hit sub-zero on 19 different days. That is back from last season and a bit below the average for a season.
