First in a series of disturbances

Saturday leads of a series of small disturbances looking to bring precip back to the area. Saturday’s chance is also a newcomer to the forecast. This shortwave is trying to kick up a band of snow and move it across the area. There are some differences in the exact placement with it, but there is enough signal to introduce an opportunity for a minor accumulation. We’ll keep it generally under 1″ and monitor the track closely in the details on Friday.

As we saw a couple days ago, this is enough to spin things around on the roads a bit. If you start to see the snow fly, dial it back a bit on the travel scene.
