Colder Air Increases Snowfall Potential Greatly

All we needed was temperatures to drop just a couple degrees to switch the precipitation from rain to snow, and that is what ended up happening here. The heaviest of snowfall and rainfall will take place from 7-10 PM. Snow will be falling at around 1″/hour at the fastest, with the snow being wet and heavy. Less snowfall is expected farther south, as communities in northern Iowa will mostly be seeing rain. We are done altogether by the time the morning commute rolls around.
