UPDATE: Rochester man accused of sending sexual messages to juvenile girl arrested on warrant

(ABC 6 News) – UPDATE: According to court documents, Austin William Nachatilo was arrested Wednesday, March 15, one week after the Rochester resident failed to appear in court on charges of sending sexual images to a juvenile and attempting to solicit images in return.

Nachatilo was released from the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center Thursday, according to court documents.

His next court appearance is scheduled for April 12, 2023.

(ABC 6 News) – Olmsted County Court issued an arrest warrant for Austin William Nachatilo Wednesday, March 8, after the Rochester resident failed to appear in court on charges of sending sexual images to a juvenile and attempting to solicit images in return.

Nachatilo faces one charge each of engaging in electronic relating or describing sexual conduct with a child, and distributing sexual material to a child via electronic communication.

According to court documents, Nachatilo, 26, began communication with a 14-year-old child in September of 2022 using the name “Austin Nacho.”

Nachatilo allegedly indicated over text that he was interested in sex with the juvenile “but that no one could find out,” asked the girl for nude photos, and sent nude photos of himself when the girl declined.

According to court documents, Nachatilo told law enforcement he had communicated with the child, but denied intentionally sending her explicit photos.
