Light Snow, Then A Wild Ride of Temperatures
Driving into work, there will still be some slick spots and ice on occasion on the morning commute due to temperatures dropping into the low-20s overnight. This will be a bigger concern in rural communities or areas where roads have not been treated as well.
Outside of this, we are dry until later in the week. Temperatures will fluctuate from single digits early Tuesday morning to 40s by the time we reach Wednesday and Thursday. It will be the first time below 20°F, let alone 10°F, in a couple weeks.
We are watching another system closely towards the end of the work week. This would be Thursday and Friday where impacts would be the greatest. It starts out as rain before switching to snow overnight and into Friday. This could be a mess depending on what exact temperatures are looking like as the rain and snow are taking place. Stay tuned for more!!
