Stronger winds, elevated fire concerns

Wind is a bit more menacing each of the next four days. Add in brown conditions and a drier atmosphere with those stronger winds, there is a bit of an elevated risk of fires quickly spreading.

Gusts will be reaching 30-35 mph each day for the rest of the week. As we reach the driest in the afternoon with strong mixing, keep in mind that elevated fire concern. Hold off on any unnecessary burning this week.
