Rivers Are Running High

We are continuing to track high water levels throughout the Weather First Area, especially the Mississippi River locally, throughout SE MN & NE IA. It is expected to crest as we wrap up the week, and with more rain in the forecast, it may increase its level just a bit more, before slowly going down over the next few weeks. Let this be a reminder to stay away and out of flooded areas! Find an alternate route to and from your destinations. Turn around, don’t drown!
