Semi crash, loose livestock halts traffic near Pine Island

(ABC 6 News) – A pickup truck carrying a trailer with livestock crashed near Pine Island on Friday.

The crash happened around 8 p.m. near Highway 52 and County Rd. 11.

The semi was traveling north when it entered a ditch and crashed.

No one was injured including the animals.

Traffic did come to a standstill though as the Goodhue County sheriff’s office worked to wrangle the animals.

A semi crash near Pine Island has left 15 to 20 sheep and cows wondering near the highway.
