(ABC 6 News) – Police may never know the reason behind a train death at Broadway and Civic Center Drive Saturday, Rochester Police Captain Casey Moilanen said Monday.

According to RPD, the stop arms at the intersection were down and the oncoming train was blowing its horn when a 71-year-old Rochester man walked directly onto the tracks with his head down.

It is unclear whether the man’s death was an accident, Moilanen said.
