UPDATE: Hayfield man dead after crash in Wabasha County

UPDATE : (ABC 6 NEWS) – A Hayfield man has died after a crash in Wabasha County Saturday afternoon, according to Minnesota State Patrol.

40-year-old Joshua Peterson of Hayfield died after his motorcycle collided with a truck.

Peterson was heading north on Highway 42 and a truck was heading west on County Rd. 14. The truck and motorcycle collided.

Part of Highway 42 was closed down while investigators recreated the scene to determine the cause of the crash. The highway is now back open.
