Albert Lea School District to review cell phone use protocols

(Albert Lea High School) – This protocol is still under development as we enter July. We have been digging through research and policies that will give Albert Lea a functional and useful plan to balance the appropriate use of cell phones with a need for engagement in the classroom. The final plan is scheduled to be presented to the school board along with all Student Handbook updates in August. We acknowledge the big change that this addition will surely be, but know that in order for our students to learn, we need to make sure they learn to use their devices in a safe and proper way.
