Warm Start, Hot Afternoon

A southwesterly wind overnight will keep temperatures Monday morning from dropping anywhere near what they were Sunday morning. This southwesterly wind combined with another day with little to no cloud cover will allow temperatures to jump into the upper-80s and even low-90s. These temperatures climax before the storms arrive later in the evening.

With humidity building as the day goes along and the warmer weather, the heat index is expected to top 90°F.
