Med City Marathon events kick-off

(ABC 6 News) – The 25th year of the Med City Marathon events kicked off Saturday morning with the 5K run/walk.
Over 200 runners and walkers of all ages participated in the 5K which was followed by the Ronald McDonald Family Walk and the Med City Kid’s Marathon.
More races continue Sunday at 7 a.m. including the Med City Marathon, Half Marathon and 20 Mile.
Sunday the city will have some road closures for the marathon. Center St. East from Civic Center Dr. to the east side of the Zumbro River will be closed for the race. Other roads in the area will be reduced to one lane but traffic will stay open.
