Hayfield shed deemed total loss after fire Saturday night

(ABC 6 News) – According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO), around 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, emergency crews responded to a farm on 160th Ave. outside of Hayfield for a report of a fire.

Upon arriving, a shed on the property was fully engulfed in flames, according to a press release from the DCSO. Crews initially thought there might be someone inside the building, but quickly determined that everyone was accounted for.

The shed has been deemed a total loss. The property owner said there was no significant loss of items inside the shed. No animals or people were injured.

Responding agencies include the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the Hayfield Fire Department, the Dodge Center Fire Department and Hayfield Ambulance.
