Drought Update: Mid-July 2023

Despite the rainfall of the past week delivering some much needed rainfall, it has only kept conditions from getting worse. Drought conditions are spreading all around the Minnesota/Iowa border, with Rochester and communities within a 20-30 minute drive feeling a severe drought (along with Charles City). Rainfall is going to be hard to come by this upcoming week, so don’t be surprised to see them potentially get even worse.
