Previous Experience

Jose joined ABC 6 News as a Sports Reporter in October 2021 after graduating from the Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. At ASU, he anchored for Cronkite News in addition to being a high school sports beat reporter. José has covered and worked multiple sporting events, including Oakland Athletics Spring Training and the Fiesta Bowl. He also worked as a volunteer for Super Bowl LV.
