(ABC 6 News) – Rochester Public Schools hosted a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at its newest elementary school on Wednesday.
Last August, crews broke ground on Overland Elementary and since then the school has come together.
Overland will welcome students next week and will be used by current Harriet Bishop Elementary students while the existing Bishop school is demolished and a new school is built.
In August of 2022, the school will open for neighborhood students.
