Dry Spell Continues
2023 is nearly 2/3 completed, and as of Monday morning, we aren’t even 2/3 of the way to our average year-to-date precipitation total. In fact, we are down 2.24″ from where we should be by now, even following the weekend rain. That has led to the expansion of the extreme drought conditions a little to the west now, including most of Olmsted County, with locations in Dodge, Steele, Fillmore, Mower, & a sliver of Freeborn Counties, now included in this range.
