UPDATE: Two arrested in connection to burglaries in three states

(ABC 6 News) – Three suspects believed to be connected to a series of burglaries across Minnesota and Iowa have now been linked to a burglary investigation in Nebraska.

Two arrests were made in Mason City on Sept. 5th. 33-year-old Shawn Boger was arrested on warrants from Otoe County in Nebraska and Kossuth County in Iowa. We do know Boger is facing a 3rd-degree burglary charge in Kossuth County. We reached out to Nebraska authorities on any charges and have not heard back.

In addition, 41-year-old Jeremy Soesbe, who officials believe is the ringleader, was also arrested in Mason City along with Boger. Soesbe faces charges of 3rd-degree burglary and another charge of ongoing criminal conduct.

On Facebook, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office posted a series of images showing a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that has been connected to a series of burglaries in Nebraska. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has since shared the post, identifying the vehicle as the same truck used during the incidents in both Minnesota and Iowa.

Included in the post is an image showing the suspects.

Security camera images show one of the suspects wearing a Chicago Bulls hoodie, while the other was dressed in a black Harley Davidson hoodie.

The images showing the suspect’s truck on Facebook have been marked with identifying features. They include a sticker placed on the driver’s side of the rear window, particular wheel rims, the vehicle’s bumper pattern and the tail light.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents to check their security camera footage for signs of the vehicle, saying that the suspects may be casing your home for a future burglary.

(ABC 6 News) – The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has requested that Hayfield and Blooming Prairie residents check their surveillance videos for a white truck in the early morning of Aug. 13.

Dodge County sheriff Scott Rose posted the following on the department’s Facebook page:

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO IDENTIFY THESE BURGLARS

In the early morning hours of 08/13/2023 we had a burglary in the city of Hayfield and then another at a farm business in Dodge County in the Blooming Prairie area. There were (3) suspects and this white truck. These suspects and this vehicle are believed to have been involved in burglaries in the southern Minnesota counties of Dodge, Faribault, Steele, and Freeborn. At this time they are suspected in burglaries in 7 counties including at least 3 in Iowa.

If you have surveillance cameras, and live in Hayfield or Blooming Prairie, whether you live in town or in the country, please take a few minutes to check any video you may have from the early morning hours of 8/13 to see if this vehicle has been in or around your property. If they’ve been there and you don’t find anything missing, they may have been casing your property to come back.

We’re especially interested in any video of streets in Hayfield around 1am or later (ring doorbell video for example).
