Heatwave will persist beyond this weekend

There is a Heat Advisory for the ABC 6 News viewing area Saturday afternoon and evening, but heat will continue through the middle of next week. Although we’ll get a short break from oppressive heat indices on Sunday, expect them to bounce back up into the upper 90s to lower 100s next week.
