Austin murder suspect arrested in Mississippi Friday morning

(ABC 6 News) – An Austin murder suspect has been taken into custody Friday morning.
The Austin Police Department said that 27-year-old Me’Darian “Solid” Ledale McGruder was arrested in the state of Mississippi by the U.S. Marshall’s Seervice and local authorities there.

McGruder was wanted in connection to a homicide that killed 20-year-old Tyesha Tahne Gills on July 31st.
At about 2 a.m. on July 31, police got a call about a woman in distress. When they arrived at the house, they found 20-year-old TyEsha Gills with a gunshot wound. Austin police said they tried to keep her alive, but they were not able to save her life.
