Minnesota Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka submits resignation
(KSTP) – Hubbard Broadcasting sister station KSTP 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS reports Minnesota Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka is submitting his resignation.
Gazelka has confirmed to 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS the resignation is effective immediately, however, he will remain as Majority Leader until the Republican caucus elects a new leader.
KSTP Chief Political Reporter Tom Hauser reports Gazelka’s announcement comes as he’s likely to soon announce a run for governor.
