Saturday bookended by rain

Both days this weekend feature some rain possibilities. For now, we’re going to focus on Saturday. It doesn’t look like we’ll deal with the rain all day long, but we will have two opportunities for rain on the day. The first half… morning through noon will hold the first chance. A scattered cluster of showers and general thunderstorms will be possible. A mid-day break will allow for some sunshine and temperatures to warm into the middle/upper 70s.

Late in the evening will be the second chance. A frontal boundary approaching from our west will spark the additional activity. There is a bit of signal that some of these storms may be strong, but their placement looks best to our northwest. We’ll be monitoring if that threat can materialize closer to us.
