No injuries after deck fire

(ABC 6 NEWS) – No one was hurt after a deck fire at a southwest Rochester home Sunday night.

Just before 11:21 p.m., The Rochester Fire Department went to a home at the 600 block of 7th Ave. SW for a deck fire.

When crews arrived, they found the deck was just beginning to reach the house.

Those inside the home were able to evacuate.

RFD said a grill was reported to be involved with the fire, but that was found to not be the case.

The RFD’s Fire Marshal Division is investigating the cause of the fire.
